Toiva | Re-interpreting Freedom
The first cohort of Fellows of the St.Gallen Collegium take readers to Toiva, an island where freedom has been re-interpreted. In the course of an academic year, scholars at the University of St.Gallen's institute for advanced study have debated what freedom circa 2050 might - or should - mean: for citizens, corporations, communities, and states. The texts illuminate various aspects of this new found, newly interpreted, or rediscovered freedom.
