P56: Accretion onto CCEGA Black Stars — Efficiency, Disk Structure, and Observational Signatures
We analyze accretion onto CCEGA black stars — ultracompact objects in the mass range 4.56–14.75 M☉ without event horizon. The physical surface at ρ_c modifies the accretion efficiency, disk structure, and thermal emission relative to GR black holes. Key predictions: (1) no quiescence — the surface provides a stable energy sink; (2) absent radio jets — surface emission quenches jet formation; (3) absent Type I X-ray bursts — surface temperature too high for hydrogen accumulation; (4) modified disk truncation radius. These four simultaneous properties distinguish black stars from both neutron stars and GR black holes observationally.
