Fermionic Emergence and the Fine-Structure Hierarchy within the Stochastic Rupture Framework

We present a checkpoint formulation of a possible connection between the StochasticRupture (SR) framework, fermionic statistics, and the origin of dimensionless couplings suchas the ne-structure constant. The central hypothesis is that fermions emerge as topologicallyprotected branch-defects of the informational saturation eld χ, while gauge couplings arisefrom the residual permeability of branch interfaces near the pruning critical point. This note is exploratory. It does not claim a complete derivation of the Standard Model, nor a rst-principles derivation of αEM. The paper is organized in two parts: Part I developsthe original speculative program; Part II presents structural corrections that clarify whathas actually been established and what remains conjectural. The principal correction is thata single real scalar eld χ possesses a trivial vacuum topology (π1 = 0) and cannot supportfermionic defects; a UV completion with a multicomponent eld χa is required. A naturalcandidate for the vacuum manifold is Mbranch ∼ S2, arising from the rotational freedomof Bousso light-sheet orientations, which carries π1(SO(3)) = Z2 and may naturally hostspinorial defects.
