Bioelectric Field Thresholds in Vertebrate Tissue Repair: A Cross-System Analysis of Electrodiffusive Transport and Regenerative Propagation

This paper presents a cross-system analysis of bioelectric threshold signaling in vertebrate tissue repair and regeneration, integrating salamander limb regeneration, mammalian wound healing, and zebrafish fin regrowth into a constrained electrodiffusive transport framework. Using independently verified literature and parameter-sourced biophysical reconstruction, the study examines how endogenous and applied electric fields govern regenerative propagation across coupled epithelial and connective tissues. The paper derives the characteristic spatial decay length λ = √(D_eff/Λ) from independently sourced ionic diffusion and decay parameters, demonstrating convergence with the empirically observed ~200 µm depolarization scale reported in zebrafish fin regeneration. Sensitivity analyses show that the observed spatial scale emerges within biologically plausible parameter space rather than from tuned single-value fitting. The framework is explicitly limited to bioelectric threshold signaling and regenerative transport behavior. Claims regarding universality, cognitive transport, quantum consciousness, Tesla-style rectification, and generalized cross-domain transport laws were removed or falsified during development and are not supported by this work. Included are literature audits, parameter sweeps, uncertainty propagation, and three falsifiable dose-response predictions for mammalian wound healing experiments. This work is presented as a parameter-constrained biophysical reconstruction and hypothesis-generating transport model for regenerative electrophysiology.
