Concurrent Tongue and Cervical Lymph Node Amyloidosis Without Systemic Disease

ABSTRACT Amyloidosis of the head and neck is often associated with systemic involvement. However, this report describes a rare presentation of localized amyloidosis involving both the tongue and cervical lymph nodes in a patient without systemic disease. It highlights the importance of a thorough workup in differentiating amyloidosis from metastatic malignancy.
