Resilient Control of Adaptive Cruise Systems Under Cross-Layer Denial-of-Service Attacks
To ensure safe autonomy in complex environments, a resilient control scheme is proposed for adaptive cruise control systems subject to crosslayer denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. Modeling physical- and cyber-layer threats as independent Bernoulli processes, sufficient linear matrix inequality conditions are derived to guarantee the mean-square stability of the closed-loop system. Comparative simulations demonstrate that the proposed controller achieves faster convergence and reduced overshoot than conventional methods, verifying the robustness and resilience of the proposed approach.
