Cover Feature: Boronic Acid‐Assisted Cellular Delivery of Pallado‐Fingers for Enhanced Pd(II)‐Mediated De‐Propargylation in Mammalian Cells (Chem. Methods 6/2026)
The Cover Feature shows pallado-fingers, PdII complexes derived from Cys2His2 zinc finger domains, engineered into a His2 scaffold (ZFP2H) for catalytic intracellular de-propargylation. Incorporation of 4-carboxyphenylboronic acid into lysine residues generated ZFP2HBA. A PdCl2 complex with ZFP2HBA resulted an enhanced cellular uptake and achieved a tenfold increase in intracellular depropargylation activity.
