PAPER-FBT02B: A Dissipative Mass Model from the S-Sector

We propose a dissipative coarse-grained model of inertial mass built on the strict affine S-sector established in FBT02A. The starting point is the geometrically normalized central generator S, whose microscopic level is fixed by Berry flux in the parent dual-phase sector. After coarse-graining, this central structure is read macroscopically through a local field φ(x). The guiding idea of the present paper is that a localized excitation carrying persistent internal rotation may lose coherent zero-mode structure into unresolved higher affine modes, and that the corresponding energetic cost may be read as inertial mass. Under a minimal open-system coarse-graining model, we obtain the leading quadratic energetic-cost law Ediss = ηgeom φ(x) ω2, where ω is an effective internal rotation frequency and ηgeom is a geometric dissipation coefficient. This leads to the effective mass relation mdiss =ηgeomc20 φ(x) ω2. The paper does not claim a unique first-principles derivation of the full mass spectrum. Its purpose is narrower: to show that the strict affine central structure of the S-sector naturally supports a dissipative energetic-cost reading of mass, and to formulate a controlled bridge between microscopic central charge, internal spectral rotation, and macroscopic inertial cost.
