Psychological-Educational Civilization Theory Toward Integrated Human Development Beyond Economic and Technical Education

Modern civilization has achieved unprecedented advancement in technology, economics, industrial productivity, communication systems, and institutional organization. However, psychological instability, social fragmentation, violence, stress-related disorders, relational conflict, loneliness, and behavioral imbalance continue to increase globally. This contradiction suggests that external development alone may be insufficient for balanced human civilization. This paper proposes that one of the major limitations of contemporary civilization lies within the structure of modern education itself. Current educational systems primarily cultivate economic and technical capabilities while insufficiently developing psychological understanding, emotional regulation, adaptive cognition, relational intelligence, and reflective self-awareness. As a result, individuals may become economically successful yet psychologically underdeveloped. Technical intelligence without psychological maturity may unintentionally contribute to exploitation, social instability, conflict, and destructive behavioral systems. The paper introduces the concept of dual education: Economic-Technical Education Psychological-Adaptive Education The study argues that civilization requires both external development and internal psychological stability. Without structured psychological education, technological and economic progress alone may intensify collective instability rather than resolve it. The paper concludes that future educational systems may require integration between technical learning and psychological human development in order to cultivate adaptive, emotionally stable, and socially responsible individuals.
