Vitality as a Landauer Efficiency of Self-Modeling — open materials and reproducible computations

Open-access materials accompanying the article «Vitality as a LandauerEfficiency of Self-Modeling» (Russian primary, with an Englishtranslation), submitted to Entropy (MDPI).The article formulates vitality as a dimensionless efficiency — theLandauer ratio η_L = I_pred / N_max, the predictive information asystem holds about its own environment divided by the Landauer budgetof its own dissipation, N_max = E_actual / (k_B T ln 2), in thelogically irreversible regime — under the self-payment requirementthat numerator and denominator belong to one physical system. Atwo-stage procedure (composite-index I_v screening, then η_Lverification) is applied to six paradigm cases: the Sun, a hurricane,a crystal, a bacterium, a large language model, and a major city, plusthe biosphere. This deposit contains: the manuscript (main.ru.md, main.en.md), thesupplementary material (Russian and English), the bibliography, thegraphical abstract, and self-contained, reproducible Python workedexamples (standard library only) for the E. coli chemotaxis loop, abimetallic thermostat, a city, the biosphere, and an LLM-as-corporation— each with a committed expected_output.txt for verification.Licensing: text, figures, and data are released under CC BY 4.0; thesource code under worked-example/ is released under the MIT License.
