CAMRS — Cross-Ancestry Mendelian Randomization Reporting Scaffold, v0.1
CAMRS v0.1.1 (text-clean revision of v0.1; substantive content unchanged) is a proposed scaffold for reporting cross-ancestry, trans-ancestry, multi-ancestry, and multi-ethnic Mendelian randomization (MR) studies. It is offered by a single author as a starting template for a future community Delphi consensus process; it is not a finalised reporting standard and is not endorsed by any consortium, society, or journal. The 18 proposed items are anchored against: (a) the STROBE-MR reporting checklist (Skrivankova et al., 2021); (b) an abstract-level scoping review of 40 cross-ancestry MR papers (2018–2026) identifying systematic reporting gaps; (c) methodological recommendations from Li & Morrison 2026 (AJHG), Wang 2020 (Nat Commun), Hu 2022 (PNAS, MR-APSS), Wallace 2020 (PLOS Genet, SuSiE-coloc), and Martin 2019 (Nat Genet, PRS equity). This deposit accompanies the Cross-Ancestry MR Portability Audit (OSF DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/U8TX4, frozen 2026-05-21) and is included as an amendment to that project's live OSF node. Investigators interested in joining a future Delphi consensus exercise are invited to contact the author. Bundle contents: CAMRS_v0.1.md (the scaffold); AMENDMENT_LOG_2026-05-23.md (amendment metadata); scoping_review/ (PubMed corpus, coding results, frequencies table, reproducible coding script).
