The Front Cover illustrates the concept of a microwave-assisted procedure towards 2-iodoglycals. The picture demonstrates that reaction setup is nearly as effortless as preparing popcorn with the use of a microwave oven. In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/cmtd.70113) M. Malinowski and co-workers we present an iodination procedure that might be efficiently carried out in just 2.5 min; a timing that is also appreciated by the characters on the graphic.
