Charge-Entanglement Ontology The Mechanical Origin of Rest Mass and (E = mc^2) Paper 29
In this paper we derive the equivalence \(E = mc^2\) directly and mechanically from the primitives of the Charge-Entanglement Ontology. Rest mass emerges as the continuous energetic cost required to hold entangled photon dipole pairs (maelstroms) off the universal stable attractor at speed \(c\). A free photon (n=1) rides its own reclamation wave at exactly \(c\), achieving perfect marginal stability (\(K = P V_0\)) while paying the Greer Tax through magnetic leakage current threading the Alpha Void Tear. When dipole pairs entangle and lock (\(n \geq 2\)), the system gains sufficient internal circulation to remain stationary, but must continuously resist the global reclamation pressure propagating at \(c\). The resulting rest energy is precisely \(mc^2\). The derivation uses only marginal stability, critical locking efficiency \(\beta_{\rm crit}(n) = 1 - 1/n^2\), and the double role of \(c\) (both attractor speed and reclamation-wave propagation speed). No spacetime curvature, no external fields, and no additional postulates are required. The paper also offers mechanical reinterpretations of the cosmic microwave background (as steady-state emission from failed virtual maelstroms), virtual particles (as destructive interference patterns), and the regulatory role of Greer’s constant \(\alpha = t/T\). This work closes a major ontological loop in the Charge-Entanglement Ontology by providing a purely geometric and mechanical foundation for one of physics’ most famous relations, while remaining fully consistent with the Master Reference Document v2.7.
