Synergistic Optimization of Multi‐Microgrid Operation: Integrating Shared Energy Storage and User Utility

ABSTRACT The collaborative operation among microgrids, shared Energy Storage (SES) and load‐side participants can significantly enhance renewable energy (RE) accommodation and improve economic efficiency. To address the multi‐stakeholder coordination challenge, this study constructs a triple‐layer optimization model that incorporates the interests of microgrid users, microgrid operators and the SES operator. To reasonably allocate the benefits among microgrid operators, this paper applies an improved nucleolus method based on satisfaction equilibrium to equitably allocate costs within the microgrid revenues. This method exhibits higher solution efficiency compared to the traditional nucleolus method and can clearly reflect the differences in contributions made by each member. This paper sets up multiple operational scenarios and conducts comparative verification. The results show that under the collaborative deployment of SES and demand response (DR), the comprehensive benefits of microgrids, users, and SES have increased by 17.3%. Meanwhile, this paper conducts a sensitivity analysis on the electricity prices, heat supply prices, DR prices, carbon trading prices, and SES service prices of microgrids, so as to provide suggestions for the operational decisions of microgrids.
