6D Hyper-Chaotic Protection for Molecular Informatics: Securing DNA/XNA Storage, Computing, and Critical Applications

The 6D Hyper-Chaotic Protection framework completes the Synthetic Universes trilogy by embedding security directly into DNA/XNA molecular substrates from the outset. It first establishes the broad utility of DNA and Xeno-Nucleic Acids (TNA, PNA) in ultra-dense archival storage (200 PB/g), ASU-style molecular electronics, bio-electronic interfaces, electricity generation, and smart-grid DNAPP authentication. Security is then implemented through an explicit 6D-to-5D mapping that respects the folded helical structure of the substrate, followed by dynamic encoding (permutation, rule selection, and two-stage diffusion with chaotic masks). The core protection layer is driven by the Chen 6D hyper-chaotic attractor with Ikeda-map time-varying parameters, generating a 2^384 key space. This produces a self-defending Biological Firewall that renders stolen, duplicated, or probed DNA/XNA strands cryptographically inert without the exact live 6D initialization seed. The architecture includes a full threat-mitigation table, NIST-aligned validation (NPCR > 99.61%, UACI ≈ 33.45%, entropy > 7.997), and compatibility with emerging ternary mmDNA chips and electrogenetic interfaces. Together with the Warped Lotus and OAM-Plasma PUF papers, it forms a complete phenomenological stack for secure multi-millennial molecular informatics.
