Accountable Agents - Reference Scenario and Control Trace
Accountable Agents – Reference Scenario and Control Trace is an operational evidence companion to the concept paper Accountable Agents. Instead of restating the architecture at a theoretical level, this reference paper makes the control logic visible through three concrete scenario traces: a bounded authorized commit, a high-impact no-commit with escalation, and a validator-conflict case leading to governed non-decision. Across these scenarios, the paper shows how declared roles, control artifacts, action classification, verification gates, commit authorization, final-state logic, and provenance records interact when generative reasoning approaches operational effect. It is not a production specification or a claim of universal safety. Its purpose is to provide inspectable reference patterns for accountable agency — making visible how an AI system may legitimately act, when it must transfer responsibility, and when it must remain in no-commit.
