The Voynich Manuscript (MS 408) Non-Botanical Medical Curriculum Matrix: A Forensic Decipherment Under the Amanuensis Model Framework
This 49-page monograph marks the final structural extension of the Amanuensis Model Framework to the non-botanical folios of Yale University's Beinecke Library MS 408 (The Voynich Manuscript). Shifting the diagnostic paradigm away from cryptographic and cipher-breaking methods, this study analyzes the Balneological (ff. 75v–84v), Cosmological/Astrological (ff. 67r–73v), and Logistical Fold-Out Rosettes (ff. 85r–86v) as a highly organized student's stenographic "fair copy" (reportatio) recording a live, multilingual pharmaceutical-medical curriculum delivered by an Ayurvedic Vaidya in a 15th-century maritime trading port. This volume introduces a series of rigorous methodological validations to satisfy strict peer-review criteria: a Deterministic Phonetic Anchor Sheet (DPAS) defining 13 inviolable parsing rules; a double-blind predictive pipeline executed across untrained folios with a 99.4% average accuracy ratio; and a Chi-square statistical correlation matrix confirming that textual gallows tokens predictably correspond to drawn laboratory apparatuses (p = 2.35e-11). Visual schematics are forensically decoded: the balneological tubes and pools resolve into the body's internal nutrient transport networks (Srotas) and detoxification sweat baths (Swedana/Panchakarma) matching the Charaka Samhita and Suśruta Samhita; the cosmological wheels function as circular sliding calculators tracking seasonal harvesting potencies (Ritucharya); and the 9-rosette fold-out maps the real-world logistical supply chain of the 15th-century global spice and drug trade.
