A Note on Halpern’s Theory of Causality: Structural Equations and Interventions as Dynamic Logic Programs
Abstract We embed Halpern’s theory of actual cause into a variant of dynamic logic with assignments. We achieve this by associating dynamic logic programs to its central concepts: structural equations and interventions modifying these equations. With these programs we can reduce reasoning about causality to a model checking problem in dynamic logic.
