A Ternary Matrix Representation of the Sator Square Based on Phonetic Symmetries

This paper presents a novel structural abstraction of the ancient Sator Square palindrome. By reducing the linguistic elements to their phonetic classification (consonants and vowels) and isolating the central nexus, the 5x5 word square is transformed into a ternary matrix. This representation isolates the pure geometric and mathematical symmetry of the artifact, independent of its Latin vocabulary.

Abstract

This paper presents a novel structural abstraction of the ancient Sator Square palindrome. By reducing the linguistic elements to their phonetic classification (consonants and vowels) and isolating the central nexus, the 5x5 word square is transformed into a ternary matrix. This representation isolates the pure geometric and mathematical symmetry of the artifact, independent of its Latin vocabulary.
