Stanley–Reisner rings of neighborhood complexes and linear resolutions

Abstract The neighborhood complex of a graph is well studied in topological combinatorics. We begin a study of Stanley–Reisner rings of neighborhood complexes and their Alexander duals by determining them in some cases. We are in particular interested in finding rings with linear resolutions.
