ECF II: From Logical Ontology to the Mathematical Cosmos

This paper provides the complete construction of the inferential face of the Emergence-Convergence Framework (ECF). Starting from the unique ontological presupposition established in ECF I—existence is correlation, with two ineliminable dimensions (P1: constraint; P2: strength)—we construct the entire edifice of logical space through an alternating construction-classification methodology. Each step introduces a logical structure and classifies it within known mathematical categories, following the principles of self-consistency, minimal classification, and possibility inclusion. We construct logical connectives, partial order structures, logical topology, discrete logical metrics, set theory, algebraic structures, category theory, and discrete analysis entirely within the inferential face. A synthetic construction (Theorem 10.1) produces a continuous metric space family directly from the discrete skeleton, a continuum input, and a strength assignment map, without any limiting procedure. The resulting family constitutes a possibility spectrum parameterized by the correlation strength λ, containing Riemannian, directed, and singular metric spaces as equal members. All constructions are honestly labeled with their argumentative tier (A–D). Open problems are precisely mapped, and the self-referential limits of the argument are surveyed. V2.0 Version Update NotesMain revisions relative to V1.0: (1) Unified ontological presupposition narrative. The ECF I starting point is now expressed as a single presupposition ("existence is correlation") with two dimensions (P1, P2), replacing the previous formulation of two independent postulates. The theorem that individuality is constituted by correlations follows as a B-tier consequence. (2) Self-consistency repositioned. Self-consistency is now recognized as a constitutive condition built into P1 rather than an independent constraint invoked separately. (3) Cross-paper section references updated to align with the final section numbering of ECF I. (4) Declaration format unified with the CDUFD series standard. DOIs for ECF I and ECF III updated to full Zenodo DOIs; ECF IV reference added. All core technical content—definitions, theorems, proofs, classifications, and open problems—remains unchanged from V1.0.
