The η Parameter: A Heuristic Extension within the Adaptive Constraint Cascade (ACC) Framework

The Adaptive Constraint Cascade (ACC) framework employs a family of extrinsic control parameters (λ, β, ε, Λ, …) to describe continuous transitions between different physical regimes. However, these parameters depend on external conditions (temperature, velocity, cutoff scale, etc.) and do not characterize the intrinsic properties of matter itself. In this paper, we introduce a new dimensionless parameter η, defined as the ratio η = Δm₀/m₀, where Δm₀ is the mass defect (or "field" content) of a particle and m₀ is its rest mass. We suggest that η could be interpreted as an effective phenomenological deformation within the ACC language, governing deformations of space and mass: dx' = (1 + ηβ²)dx and m = m₀(1 + ηβ²). This is presented as a heuristic extension, not as an alternative to established theories. We discuss potential experimental determinations of η for elementary particles and outline how this parameter might enrich the internal architecture of ACC. The equations presented here should be viewed primarily as conceptual illustrations within the ACC language. No claim is made that these deformations correspond to physically realized corrections.
