Resolving the Hubble Tension through Scale-Dependent Expansion in the Fractal Cascade Framework
We propose that π»0 is not a constant but a scale-dependent parameter reflecting the ongoing creation of new cascade levels as the universe expands. In the Fractal Mechanics framework, new quantum nodes (qubits) emerge at rate Μπ = π»(π‘)/ ln π as the universe grows, contributing to energy density as non-relativistic matter. This leads to the prediction: π»0(π§) = π»0_base Γ β[1 + πΌ/(1 + π§)Β³] with πΌ = 0.197 Β± 0.045. Fitting this single-parameter model to six independent π»0 measurements spanning π§ β 0β1100, we obtain πΒ²/dof = 0.73, π = 0.569, and significance 4.36π for πΌ β 0, reproducing both CMB and local π»0 values simultaneously. The model predicts π»0(π§ = 0.5) β 69.6 km/s/Mpc and π»0(π§ = 1.0) β 68.5 km/s/Mpc, testable with DESI and Euclid within 2029.
