Adaptive Observability as a Framework for Single-Cell Learning in Stentor coeruleus
Preprint of a theoretical and computational manuscript proposing adaptive observability as a framework for single-cell learning, habituation, and inherited cellular memory in Stentor coeruleus. This work develops an observable-operator framework in which cellular learning and memory are described through modal leakage, spectral covariance, and alignment with slow dynamical modes. The manuscript focuses on Stentor coeruleus as a biological system in which non-synaptic learning, CaMKII-mediated calcium signalling, habituation, and inherited cellular memory may be interpreted through a common geometric principle. This deposit contains the manuscript only. Associated code, figure-generation materials, and supporting files may be provided separately upon journal submission or in a later repository version.
