Signal of Internal Structure of the Electron in Strong-Field QED

We consider a model in which the electron is described as an extended configuration consisting of spherically concentric entangled orbitals. It is shown that, under appropriate operational definitions, the dominant contribution to the magnetic anomaly has the same formal structure as the Schwinger term, but includes two structural corrective terms absent in standard QED.In the weak-field limit the model is phenomenologically compatible with standard QED, whereas in the strong-field regime it predicts a dynamical response depending on the ratio between external and internal frequencies.Such a response supports the hypothesis that structural effects, statically silent, may become evident in a nonlinear dynamical regime.Expressions are derived for the deformation of the radiative spectrum and for the variation of the magnetic anomaly. The deviations are strongly suppressed but systematic. The limits of the model are also highlighted, in particular the lack of derivation of the gauge structure and of the complete perturbative series of QED.
