YiJing Hash: A Cryptographic Hash Function with Physical Basis Derived from the Twenty-Four Mountain, Ba-Gua Trigram Systems, and Lo-Shu Magic Square

A 256-bit cryptographic hash function grounded in classical Chinese cosmological algebra: Prior Heaven Ba-Gua (Z_2^3), Zhong-Tian non-homomorphic bijection, Posterior Heaven Ba-Gua non-Abelian walk on D_8 (order 16), and Z_45 = Z_9 x Z_5 DLP mixing with phi(45)=24 output symbols matching the Twenty-Four Mountain. Three theorems proven. Avalanche 50.6%, zero collisions/50k, chi2 p=0.313. Classical 2^128, quantum 2^85 security bits. Novel: physical hardness via thermodynamic entropy (Landauer principle).

Abstract

A 256-bit cryptographic hash function grounded in classical Chinese cosmological algebra: Prior Heaven Ba-Gua (Z_2^3), Zhong-Tian non-homomorphic bijection, Posterior Heaven Ba-Gua non-Abelian walk on D_8 (order 16), and Z_45 = Z_9 x Z_5 DLP mixing with phi(45)=24 output symbols matching the Twenty-Four Mountain. Three theorems proven. Avalanche 50.6%, zero collisions/50k, chi2 p=0.313. Classical 2^128, quantum 2^85 security bits. Novel: physical hardness via thermodynamic entropy (Landauer principle).
