A Heuristic Approach to Quantum Spacetime Geometry

In this article, we will attempt to define a consistent ontology for the theoretical framework of quantum mechanics by recreating an alternative geometrodynamic model, ontologically inspired by Einstein's, but topologically more refined. Specifically, we will assign a well-defined lattice step to the metric structure of Einstein's spacetime, preserving the model's continuity while quantizing its geometry. By doing so, we will finally be able to quantize gravity and its associated metric field, laying the heuristic foundations and conceptual prerequisites for what will become a rigorous mathematical framework for the non-perturbative quantization of diffeomorphism-invariant gauge theories.
