The role of sex education in the holistic development of children aged 5 - 6 years

Bài báo này tiếp cận giáo dục giới tính từ góc độ lý luận - thực tiễn, nhằm làm rõ vai trò của giáo dục giới tính đối với sự phát triển toàn diện của trẻ 5-6 tuổi trên các phương diện thể chất, nhận thức, tình cảm - xã hội và hình thành nhân cách. Dựa trên việc tổng hợp các quan điểm khoa học trong và ngoài nước cùng với phân tích đặc điểm tâm sinh lý của trẻ mẫu giáo lớn, bài báo đánh giá thực trạng triển khai giáo dục giới tính tại các cơ sở giáo dục mầm non, đồng thời đề xuất một số giải pháp nhằm nâng cao hiệu quả giáo dục giới tính cho trẻ 5-6 tuổi trong bối cảnh giáo dục mầm non tại Việt Nam. ENGLISH VERSION Title: The role of sex education in the holistic development of children aged 5 - 6 years Abstract: Sex education for preschool children, especially those aged 5-6, has received increasing attention in the context of modern society, which is characterized by rapid changes in culture, technology, and children's living environments. This article approaches sex education from a theoretical-practical perspective, aiming to clarify its role in the comprehensive development of children aged 5-6 in terms of physical, cognitive, socio-emotional development, and personality formation. Based on a synthesis of domestic and international scientific perspectives and an analysis of the psychological and physiological characteristics of older preschool children, the article examines the current state of sex education implementation in preschool education institutions and proposes several solutions to enhance the effectiveness of sex education for children aged 5-6 within the context of early childhood education in Vietnam.
