ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KUAT TEKAN BETON DENGAN SUBSTITUSI FLY ASH TIPE C DAN TIPE F

This study examines the effect of substituting Type C and Type F Fly Ash as additional materials in K-300 concrete mixed with SikaCim Concrete 1003 superplasticizer. The Fly Ash substitution variations used were 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% with cylindrical specimens measuring 150 mm × 300 mm. Compressive strength testing was conducted at 28 days in accordance with SNI and ASTM standards. The results showed that normal concrete achieved an average compressive strength of 28.7 MPa. Type C Fly Ash produced the highest compressive strength of 23.7 MPa at a 15% substitution level, while Type F Fly Ash showed a more consistent improvement with the highest compressive strength of 29.4 MPa at a 20% substitution level, exceeding the normal concrete. These findings indicate that Type F Fly Ash is more effective in improving concrete compressive strength compared to Type C Fly Ash.

These findings indicate that Type F Fly Ash is more effective in improving concrete compressive strength compared to Type C Fly Ash.
