EFFECTIVENESS OF INDIVIDUALIZED HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINE IN THE MANAGEMENT OF CONDYLOMATA ACUMINATA: A CASE REPORT

Verruca vulgaris is a benign skin tumor arising from infection with the human papilloma virus (HPV), which is also responsible for plantar warts and condylomata acuminata. These may smooth, single, multiple or cauliflower like and are generally treated by applying medicine externally or surgical excision procedure. Homoeopathy has a major role in the treatment of warts with approach of individualization to cure the recurrence of patient. In this article, discussion is made on a case of 40 years old female presented with multiple genital warts, who is treated with single medicine through holistic approach selected on the basis of totality of symptoms. Gradual reduction in number and size of warts is observed within the period of three months without any recurrence in follow up visits.
