The MISH Framework: Structure Hierarchy and Method of Imagination
The MISH (Method of Imagination And Structure Hierarchy) Framework puts forth the notion that every being, at its most fundamental level, reduces to a collection of Nodes and Connections – a structure analogous to that of a graph. Different arrangements of Nodes and Connections produce different patterns. The matter consisting of these Nodes determine their behaviour, which determines the patterns formed, which, in turn, determine the nature of being. This paper presents two central components that make up the framework: the Structure Hierarchy, a layered spectrum of how patterns organise into increasingly complex structures; and the Method of Imagination (MoI), the function by which higher-order structures recognise, absorb, and attempt to stabilise relatively lower-order patterns. Together, these components form a unified explanation distinguishing between humans, animals, and artificial intelligence on the grounds of structural and material components.
