Effect of remote ischemic conditioning on prognosis and serum Maresin 1 levels in patients with acute ischemic stroke
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of remote ischemic conditioning (RIC) on clinical outcomes and serum Maresin 1 (MaR1) levels in patients with mild‑to‑moderate acute ischemic stroke (AIS) who did not undergo vascular recanalization. METHODS: = 54, conventional treatment alone). Modified Rankin Scale (mRS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores, and MaR1 levels were assessed. RESULTS: < 0.001). CONCLUSION: In AIS patients not receiving vascular recanalization, RIC therapy significantly improves neurological recovery and reduces disability. This neuroprotective effect may be mediated in part by upregulation of MaR1.
