Analysis of Cardiorespiratory Indicators as a Means of Assessing the Functional Fitness of Figure Skaters in the Training Process

The article examines the features of assessing the functional state of figure skaters based on the analysis of cardiorespiratory indicators during the training process. The aim of the study is to investigate the dynamics of heart rate (HR), the distribution of physical load, and recovery indicators in athletes using a chest heart rate monitor. The study obtained objective data on the response of the cardiovascular system to the specific loads characteristic of figure skating. It was found that the use of modern monitoring tools allows for more accurate control of the training process, optimization of physical load, and improvement of training efficiency. The obtained results can be used in coaching practice to individualize the training process and enhance the athletic performance of figure skaters.
