Thermal Analysis of Rotating Sodium Alginate‐Based Nanofluid Flow Over a Permeable Stretchable Surface With Pollutant Concentration

ABSTRACT Determining the concentration of waste discharge over a rotating stretchable surface is essential for ecological, industrial, and environmental applications. Wastewater disposal is a critical function of many industrial networks. Preventing and analyzing hazardous chemical contamination of fluid resources is the main objective of this current examination. These results lead to an evaluation of the influence of a permeable medium, chemical reaction, heat generation/absorption, and concentration of pollutants on a steady incompressible Casson nanofluid (NF) through a stretching sheet. By using the appropriate similarity techniques, governing equations can be simplified to nondimensional ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The shooting technique and Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg‐45 are employed to computationally solve these reduced equations. The graphs are employed for discussing the significant nondimensional constraints and how they affect the corresponding profiles. Additionally examined a few of the crucial engineering coefficients. The findings mainly illustrate how the concentration profile is improved by raising the external pollutant source variable constraint and the local pollutant external source parameter. As the local external source parameter and porosity constraint values elevate, the mass transmission rate declines. Improvement in Casson parameter declines the rate of heat transfer from 0.62340 to −0.68339, indicating transmission of thermal boundary layer, and skin friction by 2.11540 to 1.49763, representing reduced wall shear stress.
