Algebraic Ontology of the Universe: A Unified Field Theory from Quantum Flag Manifolds and Modular Tomita–Takesaki Theory

This paper establishes a fully self-consistent physical framework grounded exclusively in noncommutative algebra and Tomita–Takesaki modular theory, with no presupposed spacetime, geometry, topology, or free parameters. The unique first principle of the universe is identified as the modular quantum flag manifold algebra\mathcal{M}=(O_q(\mathrm{SU}_q(3)/T)'',\varphi,\Delta,J,\sigma_t,D_F),from which all physical laws and phenomena emerge necessarily. Modular ultraviolet-infrared duality arises from spectral inversion symmetry of the modular operator, while the chiral-modular sign identity rigidly locks the direction of modular flow, yielding an intrinsic and unique arrow of time. Within this unified algebraic system, we rigorously derive the Standard Model gauge group \mathrm{SU}(3)_c\times\mathrm{SU}(2)_L\times\mathrm{U}(1)_Y, three generations of fermions, and their mass hierarchy from cohomological and representation-theoretic invariants. A parameter-free first-principles calculation gives the Higgs mass m_H=125.12\ \mathrm{GeV}, in precise agreement with experiment. The cosmological constant is exponentially suppressed by modular entropy, resolving the fine-tuning problem naturally. Crucially, positive spatial curvature is derived purely from algebraic consistency: the sign of the Seeley–deWitt coefficient a_2 in the heat kernel expansion of the Dirac operator is fixed to positive by modular inversion symmetry, without any geometric input. The theory thus predicts a closed, compact universe with small but positive curvature \Omega_k>0. This work demonstrates that algebra—not geometry—constitutes the fundamental ontology of the universe. Spacetime, curvature, time flow, matter, and interactions all arise as algebraic and spectral invariants, forming a complete, self-contained, and falsifiable unified field theory.
