Regioselective Synthesis of Carborane-Fused Boralactams via Nitrenoid-Mediated B(4)–H Amidation: Access to Oxindole Bioisosteres
-carborane derivatives, and generally delivers the corresponding products in high yields with excellent regioselectivity. The resulting boralactams closely mimic key geometric features of oxindoles, underscoring their potential as bioisosteres of benzofused lactams.
