IDRAK: A Simulation-Based Framework for Residual Analysis in Astronomical Event Catalogs
This repository contains the manuscript associated with the project:“IDRAK: A Simulation-Based Framework for Residual Analysis in Astronomical Event Catalogs”.The work presents an exploratory and simulation-based computational framework for residual analysis using astronomical event catalogs as an illustrative application. The methodology combines ephemeris-based forward modeling, Earth orientation corrections, atmospheric refraction adjustments, surrogate-based resampling methods, and statistical diagnostics including ADF, KPSS, Pettitt, CUSUM, block bootstrap uncertainty estimation, and Benjamini–Hochberg false-discovery-rate correction. All reported statistical quantities are interpreted strictly within the adopted surrogate and residual-analysis framework. No causal, predictive, or physical claims are made. This record contains the manuscript PDF prepared for exploratory and reproducible computational research purposes.
