Psychotic Symptoms Following Subthalamic <scp>DBS</scp> in Parkinson's Disease: Three Clinical Cases and Literature Review
ABSTRACT Psychosis may emerge after subthalamic deep brain stimulation in Parkinson's disease, regardless of prior psychiatric history. Early recognition of stimulation‐related behavioral changes, careful dopaminergic adjustment, and multidisciplinary postoperative monitoring are essential to differentiate DBS‐induced psychotic symptoms from disease progression and improve neuropsychiatric and functional outcomes.
