MRM: Multilevel Reconciliation Methodology A multi-source statistical foundation for Canadian carceral, police, and oversight data

A coordinated set of estimators and identification primitives that unifies five public Canadian data sources (OTIS, SIU-IAP, Ontario SIU, TPS, CCRSO) under one schema-reconciliation pattern. MRM operates on microdata at the individual (c11) and placement (b01) levels, and on chi-square summaries at the aggregate level — the "multilevel" part captures the dual operation; "reconciliation" captures the source schema integration.

Abstract

A coordinated set of estimators and identification primitives that unifies five public Canadian data sources (OTIS, SIU-IAP, Ontario SIU, TPS, CCRSO) under one schema-reconciliation pattern. MRM operates on microdata at the individual (c11) and placement (b01) levels, and on chi-square summaries at the aggregate level — the "multilevel" part captures the dual operation; "reconciliation" captures the source schema integration.
