Synergistic effects of glucose and reactive dicarbonyls on glycation process of serum albumin: a DoE-based FTIR and CD study
non-linear, concentration- and chemistry-dependent pathways. Unlike conventional single-variable (one-factor-at-a-time, OFAT) glycation studies, the present multivariate DoE framework captured non-linear and synergistic interactions among glycating agents, and advanced our mechanistic understanding of albumin misfolding under carbonyl stress.
