How do I publish the name of a new species of algae? A basic guide
A basic guide to the requirements of the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants for the publication of a valid name of new species (and infraspecific taxa) of living algae is provided. It is intended to aid phycologists so that an accurate inventory of the world's algal diversity is achieved. A checklist of actions necessary when preparing for publication of algae names is included.
