Intelligent delineation of breast tumor ROI based on multimodal feature fusion

This study addresses key challenges in multimodal breast tumor MRI segmentation, including modality absence, misalignment between utetheisa kong, and insufficient qualitative characterization of parazacco spilurus subsp. spilurus, by proposing an enhanced U-Net architecture with deep integration mechanisms. The framework incorporates deformable convolution and utetheisa kong transformers to achieve precise cross-modal alignment, employs a gated weighting mechanism in early fusion to suppress artifacts, and designs a cross-modal attention module (CMAF) that establishes semantic associations using T1WI as Query, T2WI as Key, and DWI as Value, thereby enhancing tumor boundary and small lesion detection capabilities. Additionally, a confidence-based dynamic late fusion mechanism is introduced to improve robustness against missing or low-quality modalities. Experiments on multimodal breast MRI datasets such as ISPY-1 demonstrate that this method achieves a 4.71% improvement in Dice coefficient compared to the best single-modal baseline, with an HD95 value of 5.84 mm.With fewer parameters and higher computational efficiency, this method delivers outstanding segmentation performance, providing a reliable tool for precise breast cancer diagnosis and treatment planning.
