Las neurofinanzas y su relación con el análisis bursátil de las SABs de Lima
Neurofinance is a discipline that studies how emotions and cognitive processes impact financial decision-making. This study is correlational in nature with a non-experimental design, and its objective was to analyze the relationship between neurofinance and stock market analysis carried out by Brokerage Firms (Sociedades Agentes de Bolsa – SABs) in Lima during the year 2021. The sample consisted of 68 investment executives, to whom a structured survey was administered that evaluated dimensions such as emotions, perception, and confidence, along with the methods used for stock analysis and valuation. The validity of the instrument was established through the judgment of two experts, and its reliability reached a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.900. The results revealed a significant relationship between neurofinance and stock market analysis (Rho = 0.854), as well as between emotions and stock market analysis (Rho = 0.764), perception (Rho = 0.758), and confidence and stock market analysis (Rho = 0.668). Among the emotional variables, optimism showed a notable positive impact on the quality of analysis, while anxiety had a significant negative effect. In conclusion, a high relationship was found between emotions and stock market analysis, indicating that emotions directly influence financial decision-making. This highlights the importance of adequately managing emotions to reduce biases and improve the performance of investment executives.
