EPIDEMIOLOGICAL TRENDS AND GERMLINE VARIANT ANALYSIS OF YOUNG-ONSET BLADDER CANCER
Bladder cancer incidence is rising globally, with emerging concern for earlier-onset disease.Using TriNetX (299,272 cases) and UK Biobank (4,571 cases), we evaluated age and sex specific trends and germline variants associated with young-onset bladder cancer.Incidence increased disproportionately among individuals <50 years, particularly women.Rare germline variants were identified but do not fully explain trends, supporting further study and earlier evaluation of hematuria in young patients.
