Non-Traumatic Osteochondrosis of the Humeral Trochlea in a 10-Year-Old Boy: A Case Report
Hegemann’s disease is a rare and poorly understood form of osteochondrosis that primarily affects the humeral trochlea in pediatric populations. Unlike other elbow pathologies, it presents insidiously and without a history of trauma, which can delay diagnosis. We report a case of a 10-year-old boy who presented with complaints of non-traumatic mild intermittent right elbow pain for one month, whose radiographic and MRI evaluation were consistent with Hegemann’s disease. He was managed conservatively and kept under observation.
