Centrality dependence of thermal properties of the medium produced in d+Au collisions at sNN = 200 GeV using a thermal model
In this study, we employ a thermal model to investigate the centrality dependence of the thermal properties of the medium formed during d[Formula: see text]Au collisions at chemical freeze-out. We analyze published data on various hadron species at mid-rapidity ([Formula: see text][Formula: see text] 0.1) from centrality 0-20%, 20-40%, and 40-100% in d+Au collisions at [Formula: see text] = 200 GeV, obtained from the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC). We focus on determining the thermal properties, specifically the chemical freeze-out temperature ([Formula: see text]), baryon chemical potential ([Formula: see text]), and strangeness chemical potential ([Formula: see text]). To achieve this, we utilize a [Formula: see text] minimization technique. We then compare the particle ratios derived from the thermal model with the available experimental data. The model successfully describes the particle ratios within ±5 standard deviations. Additionally, we explore system size dependence of the thermodynamic properties of the medium at freeze-out.
