IMPACT OF DIGITAL LEARNING TOOLS ON STUDENTS' ATTENTION SPAN AND MEMORY RETENTION

This research investigates the impact of digital learning tools on students’ attention span and memory retention. It examines the use of multimedia resources, online platforms, and interactive applications in the learning process. A mixed-method approach is adopted to analyze both qualitative responses and quantitative performance data. The study identifies both advantages and challenges associated with digital learning. The findings are expected to show that guided and structured use of digital tools enhances memory retention. However, excessive and unregulated use may negatively affect students’ attention span. The research suggests a balanced and strategic integration of technology in education. It contributes to the development of effective technology-based teaching methodologies.
