RimSaju: A Source-Grounded AI Engine for East Asian Four Pillars Interpretation
This technical whitepaper introduces RimSaju, a source-grounded AI engine for East Asian Four Pillars interpretation, also known as Saju. The paper describes how a classical East Asian interpretation system can be structured as a multilingual AI-native personal insight engine using retrieval-augmented generation, curated classical passages, a domain-specific terminology dictionary, and evaluation-oriented system design. RimSaju is developed by Rimfactory as the core engine behind SajuAstrology, a live Web, iOS, and Android product that generates personalized digital reports from user-submitted birth data. The current version retrieves from 562 curated classical passages and supports multilingual interpretation. The roadmap expands toward a 5,000+ passage corpus, source-grounded evaluation, multilingual consistency checks, and future user-tendency signal research for AI companions, matching, recommendation, and personalization systems. This whitepaper is intended as a technical and digital humanities research output. It does not claim deterministic prediction or professional advice. The system is positioned as a cultural interpretation, self-reflection, and personal insight technology.
