System Capacity & Care Load Analytics for Unaccompanied Children
System Capacity & Care Load Analytics for Unaccompanied Children is a data science project that analyzes daily records from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The project uses Python, Streamlit, Plotly, and Scikit-learn to build an interactive dashboard for monitoring children apprehended, transferred, sheltered, and discharged. It includes data cleaning, visualization, and machine learning forecasting models such as Linear Regression, Polynomial Regression, and Rolling Average. The dashboard helps identify seasonal migration patterns, peak shelter capacity, and transfer efficiency trends, enabling policymakers and analysts to make data-driven decisions through real-time visual insights and predictions.
