The Five Fundamental Structures and Daily Emotions: The Activation Mechanism of Closed Cognitive Structure in Real Life

This paper is a core theoretical chapter of the Three-Stage Model of Self-Consciousness Origin system, strictly following the core theoretical framework and supplementary discourse. Based on the four innate instincts and five fundamental cognitive structures proposed in the system, this paper systematically reveals the structural activation mechanism behind daily emotions, internal friction, relationship conflicts, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive patterns, and other widespread psychological distresses. The paper clarifies that all emotional experiences and psychological conflicts are not accidental or random, but originate from the activation and combined operation of closed cognitive structures—specifically the five fundamental structures: value-binding, absolute perfection, danger defense, certainty control, and binary right-wrong. These structures dominate human thinking, emotions, and behaviors at a deep level, differentiating into multiple self-response clusters that form the root cause of persistent internal conflict and psychological pain. Without mysticism, dogma, or ideological orientation, this paper constructs a complete, logically self-consistent, and verifiable interpretive system from the origin of consciousness to daily emotional experience. It provides the essential theoretical foundation for the structural awareness practice outlined in the sixth paper, offering a clear framework for identifying structural activation, terminating automatic identification, and reducing the reinforcement of closed structures. This work is suitable for researchers in consciousness studies, philosophy, psychology, and critical thinking, as well as readers concerned with the nature of self and emotional distress. It offers a rigorous, systematic, and universal framework for understanding the nature of human psychological suffering, laying the groundwork for the path of cognitive liberation.
